Ensure supplier rating system is maintained, ongoing improvement of material flow and materials management within the manufacturing facility, logistics providers, supply chain. Research and implement continuous improvement inventory practices. Responsible for the control and inventory of returnable supplier containers. Responsible for the administration of the plant safety policies and the safety of plant personnel, maintains the attitude that all accidents are preventable, and attends all major investigations in his/her area. Use Lean concepts to schedule and manage inventory for components, packaging materials, WIP and finished good levels. Cross-functional communications with Engineering, Purchasing, Manufacturing, Quality, maintenance, human Resources and Accounting.
