We are currently on the lookout for a reliable and safety-conscious Construction Laborer to be an integral part of our diverse and skilled team. This role is suited for individuals with a robust background in construction, familiar with a variety of tools, both non-engine and small-engine, and ready to tackle various physical tasks involved in site preparation and construction processes.

Requirements:

Qualifications:

  • At least 1 year of experience within the construction industry, demonstrating a solid understanding of construction practices and equipment operation.

Education and Certification:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Relevant certifications or training related to construction are highly regarded.

Work conditions:

Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain a wide range of construction equipment, including pneumatic hammers, vibrators, tampers, rock trucks, skid steers, etc.
  • Perform leveling of earth to meet fine grade specifications using tools such as rakes and shovels.
  • Assist in the demolition of buildings and the installation of sewer and water mains, including aligning pipes and related tasks.
  • Support Heavy Equipment Operators (HEOs) by securing special attachments to equipment, signaling operators to assist with equipment movement, and providing general support on-site.
  • Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt.
  • Erect and dismantle construction-related structures like forms, scaffolding, ramps, shoring, and barricades.
  • Work effectively as part of a construction crew, following detailed construction plans and using tools and equipment proficiently.
  • Utilize Rotary Lasers for precision work in leveling and alignment.
  • Manage the loading and unloading of construction materials.
  • Contribute to health and safety practices on-site by participating in safety activities, identifying hazards, practicing safe work precautions, wearing personal protective equipment (PPE), engaging in routine safety training, and asking questions to clarify safety procedures.
