Seeking a dedicated and passionate Master Electrician to join our growing team. Requirements:
- Must be a licensed Master Electrician.
- Experience in solar system design, site analysis, and commercial electrical projects.
- Proficient with various voltages (600, 480, 208, 240) and amperages (60a - 1,600a).
- Strong organizational, time management, and prioritization skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
- Demonstrated leadership qualities, with the ability to work independently, make decisions, and take ownership of technical matters.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Self-motivated, with a willingness to learn new skills.
- Valid Ontario driver’s license and the ability to travel throughout the province.
- Valid Working at Heights Certification.
- Knowledge of the solar industry and/or solar design software is an asset.
- Knowledgeable of the Occupational Health and Safety Act with a strong safety focus.
- Physical ability to bend, lift, and twist, including lifting 50lbs on a frequent or repetitive basis.
Work conditions:
Work location varies, as this role involves travel throughout the province and staying away from home for extended periods (Monday - Friday).
Responsibilities:
- Support all technical aspects of project delivery, from concept to completion, for both commercial and residential solar systems.
- Install electrical wiring, conduit, and systems, and conduct preventive maintenance on construction projects.
- Liaise with clients, vendors, and other electricians to ensure smooth project progression.
- Participate in project closeout, including system testing, and equipment selection and procurement.
- Ensure compliance with regulations and incorporate safety and risk analysis into equipment designs.
- Utilize knowledge of A/C and D/C systems and tie in solar installations to main service panels.
