Job description
Our client is a full service restoration company that specializes in mitigating property damage from fires, flooding, mould, vandalism and wind damage. We are currently looking to hire an experienced Project Manager / Estimator to join our team of industry professionals that services the Hamilton, Burlington & Milton areas.
Requirements:
- Knowledgeable in construction or restoration process
- Excellent customer service & communication skills
- Highly organized with attention to detail
- Ability to work well independently as well as with others
- Must be able to adapt well to change while staying in control of work in progress.
- Valid Driver License
- Experience in the industry is an asset however we are willing to train the right candidate
Construction Project Management: 2 years (preferred)
Work conditions:
Responsibilities:
- Primary liaison for policy holders and handling insurance representatives.
- Detailed Inspection of residential & commercial properties to access damages & report on findings.
- Prepare accurate estimates utilizing Xactimate software
- Provide detailed work orders to staff and trades on work to be completed.
- Establish relationships with insurance professionals, trades and customers
- Gathering all necessary paperwork and documentation for each file.
- Manage projects to ensure they are completed within budget, on-time and to the customers satisfaction.
- Must be available for on call emergency service on a rotational schedule
