Job description

Seeking a dedicated Site Supervisor to oversee projects across Quebec, particularly in fields like environmental remediation, civil engineering, water treatment, and mine closure. This role demands a professional ready to ensure the smooth execution of projects, requiring frequent travel outside Montreal and sometimes a rotating work schedule.

Requirements:

  • College diploma in civil, mining, or equivalent technical engineering.
  • 2 to 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Experience in mining, site rehabilitation, demolition, and/or infrastructure projects preferred.
  • Exceptional organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities.
  • Bilingualism (French/English) is an asset.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Availability to work on-site, on rotation, anywhere in Quebec.

Responsibilities:

  • Enforce the company's health and safety rules and policies for all site participants.
  • Comply with work instructions, guidelines, protocols, and procedures from our quality control systems and other company policies.
  • Supervise and document construction activities on-site.
  • Organize and direct the work of subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Collaborate with project managers, consultants, designers, and both internal and external team members.
  • Resolve problems encountered on-site effectively.
  • Provide updates on progress and forecast trends of field work to Project Managers.
