Requirements:

  • A minimum of 4 years’ experience in Welding and Fabrication.
  • Proficiency in MIG welding steel and TIG welding aluminum.
  • Familiarity with reading prints and CAD drawings, and a basic understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
  • Experience in performing equipment maintenance and using power tools.
  • Knowledge of safety practices in a welding and fabrication environment.
  • Physical ability to lift more than 25 pounds.
  • Strong analytical skills with a keen interest in problem-solving.
  • Dependability in completing tasks, finishing projects, and meeting deadlines.
  • 4 years of professional experience.
  • Full-time position with an early start at 6am.
  • Work location is on-site, providing a hands-on approach to every project.

Work conditions:

Full-time position with an early start at 6am. Work location is on-site, providing a hands-on approach to every project. 10-hour and 8-hour day shifts. Monday to Friday with weekend work as needed.

Responsibilities:

  • Execute all welding tasks for projects across various industries, ensuring compliance with quality standards.
  • Analyze project designs to perform accurate fit-up, tack, and welding using GTAW/TIG and GMAW/MIG processes.
  • Select appropriate techniques, supplies, and gases for different materials and welding processes.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly workspace, and manage pre and post-weld inspections.
  • Adhere to process documentation such as WPS, PQR, weld maps, and logs.
  • Undergo inspections by Certified Welding Inspectors (CWI) and complete any necessary repairs.
  • Obtain operator certifications for GTAW Aluminum and GMAW Steel, among others.
  • Operate HiLo and crane equipment, with provided instruction and certification.
